Greetings fellow Canardians
It's not too early to start planning your visit
to the 4th annual Canards de Mayo at Columbia Airport in N. California.
If you
have not visited Columbia you are missing an experience. Nestled in the foothills
of the Sierra Nevada mountains it is a jewel not to be missed.
It is a short walk
to the old gold mining town of Columbia which has been preserved as it was in the
heyday of the 49ers Gold Rush .
The town has 4 good resturants and an authentic
Hotel from the gold mining period.. The Fallon House Theater is also original and
puts on entainment that is first class(check the link below for the schedule for
May 2nd & 3rd.)
The camp ground at the airport has clean toilets and hot showers
and a clubhouse that we will be using for presentations and the Saturday evening
dinner.
The last 3 Fly Ins have been a great success and we intend this year's
to reset the standard.
